The whole family had a fantastic holiday.....skiing in Glenshee, playing with the train next door, and swimming in Aberdeen......and the kids say "can they always stay in this cottage when we come to Scotland", which says it all!

What a lovely home from home! Had a wonderful, peaceful break. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife.....bunnies, red squirrels and little white & black stoat!

Harris family (4), West Midlands - February '08

Happy New Year! We all had a great time absorbing the surroundings and enjoying all that Braemar had to offer. We spent New Year's eve in the Fife Arms and continued the party back at the cottage until the early hours of the 2nd!!! Would love to come back and hopefully you can build an extension so we can bring more people!

We had a fantastic week. The cottage was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in front of the fire keeping warm. Ideal facilities for kids.

Had a lovely few days, weather was great for time of year. Lots of cycling, walking and golf, then 'chilling' in the evening beside roaring fire! Kids enjoyed trip down memory lane playing with the toys!

Beautiful setting in lovely village - comfortable stay. Great to abandon car for a week and walk & cycle everywhere. Red squirrels regular visitors and pleasure to watch.

Beautiful cottage with breathtaking views. Great neighbour - John - trainman who took the little ones for lots of train rides. Loved the huge 'spongy' lawn. If we are to visit this part of bonnie Scotland, we will without doubt stay at Broom Cottage again.

Lovely location and great garden - the kids have enjoyed it hugely. Very well equipped for a family holiday. Coal fire lovely on a chilly evening!! And when a bit warmer the BBQ was a great success!

...the kids had a ball, as they had lots of room outside to run and play, and they also had a wonderful time playing with all the toys. My hubby did a few Munro's, whilst I had a lazy time enjoying the peace and quiet!
